Pls look for the opening and closing rank of the branch that you want and the college of ur choice from there you can get an idea of the branch that you can get

Check out the cut off lists of NITS and you may getv to know where do you exactly fit, otherwise I have some other institutions to offer –

My rank in JEE Advanced 2022 is 1871. Should I go for IIT Guwahati ECE or IIT Kanpur Mechanical and try for a branch change to CS or Electrical Engineering? Is changing your branch very difficult?
