I am a student of 11th grade and I want to ask about the books I should use to prepare for CBSE exams and entrance exams (JEE Main and if possible JEE Advanced) for chemistry and physics.I recntly started solving problems from Pradeep (Chemistry) and found that it is just too time consuming and I suppose it does not benefit me a lot. This is because I’ve heard and noticed that the NCERT for Chemistry is good enough for CBSE and there are more important questions asked in entrance exams than those in Pradeep. I solve the subjective questions from P. Bahadur as well. It’s just that for Organic Chemistry which I will be practising from M.S. Chouhan (Fryhle and Solomon) I don’t see many subjective problems. But for now, I think that in order to practise I should rather practise MCQs for entrance from Arihant and solve the Exemplar rather than solving problems from Pradeep. As for Physics I solve S.L. Arora for CBSE exams and H.C. Verma for entrance exams (currently not started using I.E. Irodov). I also solve the Exemplar. Now I have similar doubt for Physics that should I continue solving S.L. Arora or should I go for an Objective book for entrance. I don’t if NCERT would be enough for Physics too for CBSE.I am already quite slow though I don’t find difficulty in studying all this. Please tell me what should I do.
