Hey,I`m diploma student and I`ve done 12th std from maharashtra board too.. I aspire to get into IITB. What process do you suggest me to go through? Also, is there any special provision for diploma holders? Can I go for the 5yr dual degree course?

This is specialized mode of Admissions for students who have finished their B.E. / B.Tech. II year in other Engineering collegesand have a strong desire to work on research problems.Admissions are restricted to :

[ECD] Bachelor Of Technology (B. Tech.) in Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) and Master Of Science (MS) in Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) by Research[more information]

Students are required to spend a minimum of 4 years to complete the course credits and thesis work. The programme is based on successful completion of a research thesis.

Admission is based on performance in an Entrance Examination and an interview. The examination is to be held onApril 30, 2017 (Sunday) across multiple cities. Only candidates shortlisted through this exam will be called for an interview. The last date for submission of application of onlne application isApril 15, 2017.
