Slope is defined as the angle which the line makes with positive direction if X-axis measured anti-clockwise.

Slope is tan theta for a line on x-y plane Its formula is y1-y2/x1-x2...It denoted by m....Slope is perpendicular/base for a triangle .It is tan theta for a given angle in a triangle... I hope this will be true ans of your question...
