Differentiate eqn of curve to get Dy/dx =2x +3Let Dy / dx = 1 (perpendicular to slope of given line)Now eqn is 1=2x +3X =-1 Put in eqn of curve Y = 0Now we know pt and line both so find dist.Answer is 3/√2
