the given equation is of parabola with focus at (8,0)as we know that any ray of lighting from surface of parabola passes through focus aqray which is horizontal should strike the parabola at the end point of latus rectum because lr is perpendicular to axis of paraboalthus points are(8,16)or(8,-16)
