ok so we obviously know that B and P both exist on line 3x= 4y+49. so their coordinates are of the form (4p+15, 3p – 1). note that this is the parametric way of choosing coordinates on a line. if you are unfamiliar with it you can simply assume the point of the form [(4k+49)/3, k].
now, apply distance formula
CB^2 or CP^2= 10^2
(4p+15 – 7)^2 + (3p – 1 – ( – 7))^2= 100
solving, you get p= 0, – 4
hence points B or P are (15, – 1) or ( – 1, – 13).
