Dear Student,
As axis parallel to y axis,
let eqn of parabola is y=ax^2+bx+c passing through: (4,5)
=> 5=16a+4b+c
(-2,11)=>11=4a-2b+c
(-4,21)=>21=16a-4b+c
solving we get, a=1/2, b=-2 and c=5
so eqn is y=1/2 x^2-2x+5
or, x^2-2y-4x+10=0 (ans)
