Dear student
here end point of latus rectum = ( ± 2a, – a ) type
a = 1 here
x + 2 = ± 2 hence x = 0 or x = – 4
y + 3 = – 1 hence y = – 4
hence end points are =(0, – 4) and ( – 4, – 4)
