If the line L : 2(aa3 -3)x - ay - aa3 + 3a = 0 meets the parabola C at a point B on the line L2: x=1, then a is equal to-
(a) -3 (b) -2 (c) 2 (d) 3
I just wanted to ask that is the line L tangent to parabola C as meets is mentioned. Also, I tried solving this taking L as a tangent to C, finding 'm' and then point of contact. At last I put x-coordinate point of contact =1, but didn't get the answer! Please help me out!
