To find combined equation of pair of line joining intersecting point of a curve and a straight line we substitute 1 in equation of curve we find this 1 from given straight line such in this question 1=2x+y and we multiply in equation of curve constant term by 12as here by (2x+y)2and terms of x and y by 1 and you can get the equation of combined pair of line.
