How to find equation of parabola If a vertex and equation of directrics of parabola is given?

Vertex of standard parabola is (0,0) and the directrix eqn. is x + a = 0
First solve the general parabola eqn. as it is.
Then make it in standard form and then equate its x and y coordinates to zero.
