Find the equation of circle which touches the lines x=1, y=2, y=6

 As this is bounded between line y=2 and y=6 so clearly radius will be 2. Also it touches x=1 so the circle can be either side of x=1 so there are two possibilities with centre (3,4) and (-1,4) and the eqn of circle are (X-3)+ (y-4)2 =  4 or (x+1)2 + (y-4)2 = 4
