Dear Student

Since Radius of sector is 12
and 2 vertices of square are on sector

consider a triangle with sides as
one side of square ,other two -radii of sectors
since, radius will be equal, angle opposite to them will also be equal
one angle is given 60, so the remaining two equal angle will be 60 each
the triangle will be equilateral triangle
side of square= 12
Area of square= 144unit2

Thanks

Dear Mr Singh,
If we draw a triangle with sides as a side of square and two radii then the angle opposite to the side of square will be less than the sectorial angle (two vertices of the square are on the arc which may necessarily not on the end points of the arc) and the triangle will not be an equilateral triangle.
