A square has its vertices on the X axis and y axis and another Coordinate in the first quadrant with Coordinates (u,V). Find the area of the square in terms of u and v

Dear student
 
we can simoly state that vertices of square will be (0,v) , (u, 0 ) (0,0) and (u, v) as this is given in question.
 
now for square, u should be equal to v.
 
and side of square = u = v
hence area = u2 or v2
