Dear Halak,

 this is not the problem of similar triangles it can be solved by the property of trapezium

that both the diagonals are equal   so length of one diagonal is 

AC=4X-2    and other OD+OB = BD

so by the given information we get BD= 3X + 5

so AC = BD      4X-2 = 3X+5

SO X = 7
