Hi, if v will join these two pts , line joining these points will be perpendicular to mirror , more over the mirror will be equidistnt frm both points , hence will be passing through the mid point of the line joining these. mid pt = {(4+2)/2, (-6+1)/2} = (3, -5/2) slope = -1/m where m = slope of line joing pts = -{4-2/-6-1}= 2/7 now eqn => y-1=2/7*(x-2) 7y -2x -3=0
