if the equation of the circle is x² + y² +2gx + 2fy + c =0....and (h,k) be any point ...then consider
Sι = h² + k² +2gh +2fk + c=0-------(we get this by substituting the point in the above circle equation)
if Sι>0 then the point lies outside the circle
if Sι<0 the point lies within the circle
if Sι = 0 then the point lies on the circle...
