Dear Student
if we take value of x & y other than 1,
we couldn’t get the answer.
but if we get any one of them 1.
we can easily get the answer.
as let x = 1 and y = 19
now
1^19 + 19^1
= 1 + 19
= 20
hence one value is 1 and other value is 19.
