Solve the following inequality- |X^ (X^2 – x – 2)| <1

$|x^{x^2-x-2}|<1$

Since in case of fractional power a has to be positive.

=> x is positive.

$x^{x^2-x-2}<1$

now we analyse

$x^2-x-2=(x-1/2)^2-9/4$

now we analyse by intervals

$x\in(0,1)$

$x^2-x-2$

is -ve but so total value will be > 1 so rejected

$x\in(1,2)$

s is greater than but power is -ve so total value is <1

$x\in(1,2)$
