x^2-4x+5=0 where a=1 b=-4 c=5 and root is given by [-b+_(b^2-4ac)^1/2]/2a so solve to get roots 2+ì ,2-ì.(where ì is iota)

I think the sign before 5 should be negative as you would get real and rational roots If it is - 5 the roots are - 1&5
