x^2-4x+5=0 where a=1 b=-4 c=5 and root is given by [-b+_(b^2-4ac)^1/2]/2a so solve to get roots 2+ì ,2-ì.(where ì is iota)

you are in class eight so you cant solve this equation became it has complex roots so first check the equation and post again  and please approve my answer

Dear student 
I think the sign before 5 should be negative as you would get real and rational roots If it is - 5 the roots are - 1&5
