If the series {a k } satisfies a 1 =1, a 2 =2 and a k -4a k-1 +3a k-2 =0 for k>=3 then a k =(1+x)/y for k>=1 find ‘x’ and ‘y’.

If the series {ak} satisfies  a1=1, a2=2 and ak-4ak-1+3ak-2=0
for k>=3 then
         ak=(1+x)/y for k>=1
find ‘x’ and ‘y’.
