I have provided a brief of the topic here:
Rotation of complex numbers basically means using multiplication of complex numbers with unit modulus in such a way that the resulting angle is given by argument of z i.e. arg (z). In simple words, it means the effect on the complex number when it is turned through a particular angle.
For eg. if a complex number is multiplied by (-i), it implies the rotation of the complex number by 90° but towards the left, similarly, multiplying by i would imply the rotation by the same angle but in the opposite direction, i.e. towards the right.
