Can we say that -2,-4,-6.... are even numbers as they are also divisible by 2!!
Negative integers are divisble by 2 but they are not even numbers as the definition of even numbers is-
A number is said to be even if it is a multiple of 2 and belongs to natural numbers.
An even number is defined as follows:
Any integer which is divisible by 2, is an even number.
Since, -2,4 and -6 are divisible by 2, hence they are also even numbers.
