let n(A)=4 and n(B)=6.then the number of one-one functions from A to B is?
do specify the explanation......
Dear anjali
SInce no. of elements in A are 4 , for one-one functions only 4 elements from B can only be images of elements of A.
Now no. of one-one functions will be = no. of arrangements of 4 elements selected from B out of 6.
so answer is 6P4.
