Atripeptideis apeptideconsisting of threeamino acidsjoined bypeptide bonds. The exact nature and function ofproteinsis determined by the amino acids present and the order they occur. Simple examples are the tripeptides made by combining either threeglycinemolecules or two glycines and onealanine. The three glycine tripeptide can have only one structure: glycine-glycine-glycine. The other tripeptides can have different orders: glycine-alanine-glycine, glycine-glycine-alanine, and alanine-glycine-glycine. Each is a distinct molecule.
So the tripeptide formed with repeptition or without repeptition of amino acids depends upon the type of molecule you want to form. There is no formula for it.
