Dear student,
From the figure, we can only infer that\angle ABD=\angle BAC+70^{\circ}.
We need some relation between the other set of angles to proceed further.

Let the extension of line DC be F
70+\angleEAB+\angleBAC=180(linear pair)
\angleEAB+\angleBAC=110
\angleEAC=\angleACF(alternate angles)
\angleEAC+70=180(linear pair)
\angleEAC=110
so \angleACF=110
we can see \angleACF=\angleABD (exterior angles)
so \angleABD=110
