Let the numbers be a and b
Then
a+ b = 2 (i)
a*b = 3 (ii)
Now we are asked
1/a + 1/b. =?
Now
If we divide equation i by equation ii
Then we get
1/a + 1/b = 2/3
This is the answer

x+y=2
x × y=3
1/x+1/y
=(x+y)/x × y
=2/3
=0.6666.......
2/3 or 0.6666.... Is the answer.
