Area of a parallelogram is 450cm2 and it's altitudeis 20 cm. Find the length of the corresponding side of the parallelogram.

As if we draw a diagonal, it bisect the parallelogram inntwo congruent triangles.
Hence sum of areas of two congruent triangles = area of parallelogram
 
2* (1/2) * side * 20 = 450
Side = 45/2
= 22.5 cm
