Use of ultrasound in medicine : For scanning and imaging the body for stones, tumour and foetus. For relieving pain in muscles and joints. Use of ultrasound in industry : For detecting finer faults in metal sheets. In dish washing machines where water and detergent are vibrate with ultrasonic vibrators. For homogenising milk in milk plants.
