Quasers are the brightest and most distant objects in the universe. They are faint-star like objects from which radio-waves are emitted from the pair of lobes surrounding them.Due to this they were earlier reffered to as radiostars,as they are strong source of radiowaves. But today aur astronomers regarded them as quasi-stellar objects or QSOs.Now due to resolution in radio and optical telescopes it has been found that they are not true stars but star like objects. These bodies are found well outside of our own galaxy. In fact this is not known that what actually these bodies are,but they emit enormous amount of energy.
