What are antibiotics? What precautions must be taken while taking antibiotics?

Antibioticsare medicines produced by certain micro-organisms to kill other disease-causing micro-organisms. These medicines are commonly obtained from bacteria and fungi. Streptomycin, tetracycline, penicillin, etc. are common antibiotics.

Antibiotics are chemicals which prevent the growth of pathogenic microorganisms present in our body thus helps us to control and cure diseases like typhoid, diptheria, pneumonia and tuberculosis.The precautions should be followed in using antibiotics are-1) We should not take overdose of antibiotics.2) Antibiotics should not be taken with empty stomach. 3) We should complete the dose of antibiotics as advised by a qualified doctor.4) We should take antibiotics only after consulting a doctor.

a medicine obtained from some microorganisms,that inhibits the growth or destroys the harmful microorganisms that cause diseases in ​animals including human beings.for ex penicillin is an antibiotic that is obtained from a microorganism,penicillum.

The medicines kill or stop the growth of the disease-causing microorganisms such medicines are called antibiotics. Antibiotics should be taken only on the advice of a qualified doctor.If you take antibiotics when not needed or in wrong doses, it may make the drung less effective when you might need it in the future.

whenever we fall ill the doctor may give us some antibiotic tablets, capsules or injections such as penicillin.The source of these medicines is nothing but the microorganisms. These medicines kill or stop the growth of the disease-causing microorganisms. Such medicines are called antibiotics.
precautions:       1. we should not take them or consume them when there is no need.
                         2.  do not take them empty stomach.
                        3.   we should take antibiotics only after consulting a qualified doctor.

Antibiotics are drugs or more specifically chemical drugs that are used for preventing any kind of diseases , or if someone is suffering from cold and fever . This are of many types which perform or have different functions for different problems .
