       IT IS A SMALL PROJECTION  THAT EXTENDS INTO THE LUMEN OF THE SMALL INTESTINE.
USES:
      IT INCREASES THE INTERNAL SURFACE AREA OF THE WALLS  THEREFORE RESULTING IN GREATER ABSORPTION
