Whats a villi and what is it uses in the body and where is it located in the body

The use of villi is to increase the surface for absorption nutrients in the intenstine  as in a small space the area of absorption is needed to be more for working effectively

the inner walls of the small intestine iscovered with millions of tiny finger like projections is called villi

USES:

      IT INCREASES THE INTERNAL SURFACE AREA OF THE WALLS  THEREFORE RESULTING IN GREATER ABSORPTION
