Land gets heated and cooled  faster than water,The air that is above the heated land gets heated and rises up, creating a low-pressure zone in that area. The air from surrounding areas( distant) rushes to the low pressure zone to stabilize the air pressure .This results in winds. When these temperature differences are too high ,like in summers ,very strong winds result known as storms. Subsequently, the warm air that has risen up , cools down and rushes back, creating a cyclic effect , termed as cyclones. Cyclones are caused due to moist warm air rising from the heated low-pressure zone at the sea level ( known as the ‘ eye’ of the storm) , going up, cooling, and then coming back in a cyclic motion along with the surrounding cool air. This continuous motion of the moist warm air and moist cold air in a cyclic motion brings lot of wind and rain, known as Cyclones.
