You have been asked to maintain a garden. How will you minimise the use of water?

To maintain a garden, water is necessary. Therefore, to minimise the use of water, we can apply the drip irrigation method. In this method, water is supplied directly to the base of the plants using narrow pipes, thereby reducing the loss of water.

to maintain a garden at home with minism waterare:
  • wash your car/bike in the garden.
  • water the plants twice in a week.
  • water the plants in a bucket instead of with hoses.

To minimize the use of water i would rather use sprinklers to water the plant. Because this really saves a lot of water without actually wasting it.

Ground water can be recharged using recharge pits in which water can be collected which in a period of time is absorbed by the ground.
