What is the correct way to differentiate electrophilic and nucleophilic reactions?

Electrophilic are electron acceptors

Nucleophilic are electron donors

u just need to know the mechanism. if an electrophile is attacking first on the carbon chain, then its electrophilic and similarly if nucleophile is attacking first , then its nucleophilic. wee always see the first one which attacks the carbon chain.
