I am expecting around 3000 rank. What are the prospects of biotechnology, chemical and civil

Biotechnology is a branch which is more of research oriented. In the next 5-7 years this department will have a boom in India,

India is an agricultural based country. Chemical engineering is a branch which is very good from placement point of view.

But students looking for UPSC in the long run wont be able to appear since Chemical engineering doesnot come in the prescribed list of IES (Indian Engineering Service)

IIT Delhi and IIT Mumbai Chemical Department is world renowned for Chemical Engineering

Civil Engineering is the most ideal branch for somebody looking for IAS and IES , also this branch is very helpful for those who are looking for research work
