what rank / percentage i have to gain in IITJEE ,to enter in madras iit?

It depends according to stream you want to take.

For computer science and electronics your rank should be around 500 atleast and for other streams it should be around 2000 for generakl category

Hi Santhipriya,

With any IIT JEE Rank better than 2500, you can get admitted into IIT Madras.

Your actual rank would only matter for the branch you'd want to choose.

Within an AIR of 150 you should be able to get CS.

Within 350 you should be able to get Electrical

And within 800 you should be able to get Mechanical

And so on.
