i have got 7247 rank in gen in iit .is there any chance of getting anything.if yes then which one.please tell i am not able to analyse it thru the last year rank

Dear Kanika,

Total no.of seats through IIT is just 6875 after opening of new IITs. As you rank is quite away you wont be getting any seat alloted to you there. Then you will eligible for IIST and IISER you can easily get something of your choice there as their last year cutoff was 7900.
