I think i have secured 220-231 marks in iit jee 2010 what might be my rank?is there any point in studying day and night for bits?oviously u might say me to study..........

As your score is of 230 marks in IIT JEE 2010, so with these marks your estimated ank would be some where in between 3000 to 3500. According to the calculation chances are more that you can get IIT. But it is not confirmed that you may get your desired branch or not.

However score may vary and as a result rank may also vary, a slight difference may create lots of difference in rank.
