WE COUNT NO OF PURE ORBITALS BY BASED ON VALANCE ELECTRONS AND VALENCE ORBITALS.

No. of valence orbitals- No of Hybrid orbitals.(ANS)
apply the formula for no. of hybrid orbitals.
if it exceeds 4 then the answer is 0.
