Hi Basit,
first draw the structure of P4O10
then
(1)all the single bonds will be sigma bonds
(2)if there is a triple or a double bond then one bond out of three will be sigma bond
eg. in ethene H2-C=C-H2
there are 5 sigma bonds four are from the single bonded hydrogen while one is from the double bond.remember even if there is a triple bond then also there is only one sigma bond and rest are pie bonds.
(3)remainining all bonds are pie bonds(except coordinate bonds, which occurs genrally only in Transition Compounds)

So you can see 4 pie bonds.
