Dear viswateja,

The oxidation state of H in CuH is -1 ,

CuH is a metal hydride of copper,

copper exists mostly in two states +1 and +2 ,

In this particular case even though it is unstable it exists in +1 state,Hence the oxidations tate of H is -1

but in numerical chemistry by p bahadur, in page no.-218 question no.- 2.(a) says that cu has -1 oxidation state.
