Not only car ,aeroplane ,metro trains all are designed in such a way that air resistance will be minimum while they are moving.This is related to Bernoulli''s principle.

car is constructed in that shape because to reduce air friction and make more speed.

not only car but all vehicles are made like that as to give it a stream lined shape so that it moves easily and air friction, drag,etc is reduced.
