one must keep in mind that no matter how high the friction force, friction is a force of reaction and thus, its effect, be it force or torque can never exceed the force or torque that opposes friction. Therefore, bottle will topple in the direction of application of force.

exactly even i was arguing for the same reason but no one listened to me

In viewing through a magnifying glass, one usually positions one's eyes very close to the lens. Does angular magnification change if the eye is moved back?
