Age Limit

  • Applicants must have completed 17 years of age as of December 31 of the year of admission
  • There’s no upper age limit to apply for NEET 2021 exam.

Educational Qualification

  • Qualifying Exam: Aspirants who have passed their 12th level or its equivalent from a recognized university or board are eligible to appear for NEET 2021 exam.
  • Qualifying Marks: Candidates must have passed their 12th with a minimum of 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. Besides, those who belong to categories such as SC/ST/OBC or unreserved category should have obtained a minimum of 40% marks in 10+2. For PWD candidates, the minimum percentage required to appear for NEET is 45%.
  • Compulsory Subjects: Students who have passed their 10+2 in Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English as compulsory subjects in grade 12 are eligible to appear for NEET 2021 exam.
  • Criteria for Foreign Nationals: Students who have been studied in abroad such as the USA, Singapore, Malaysia, etc and are planning to take down NEET 2021 exam and get admission in India’s top medical college should have passed their grade 12 with Physics, Chemistry, English, Biology/Biotechnology with minimum 50% marks are eligible to apply for this exam.
