Solution:
(i) P = Rs.900 and S.P = Rs.873
We know that,
S.P = M.P - discount
= 873 = 900 – discount

Given, M.P of the ceiling fan = Rs. 720
S.P of the ceiling fan = Rs. 684
Since S.P = M.P – discount

= Rs. (720 - 684)
= Rs. 36
