Result of AIIMS Entrance Exam will be declared on 12th June

 

On 12 June, 2018, All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) carried out the entrance exam for the MBBS course admission 2018-2019. As per the official sources, the AIIMS Entrance Exam 2018 Result will be declared by the 12thof June, 2018. The competitive exam was conducted in offline and online modes. This exam was conducted last Sunday in 18 centers in all across the country. This course is provided by the AIIMS campus, located in Bhopal, New Delhi, Jodhpur, Patna, Rishikesh, Raipur and Bhubaneswar.

This year, AIIMS, New Delhi is providing 1 seat for Foreign National and 72 seats for Indian Nationals. Among these seats, 11 are reserved for SC (Scheduled Castes) and 5 for ST (Scheduled Tribes). Again, 37 seats and 19 seats are booked for the General Category and Other Backward Classes respectively.  In the institutions of Jodhpur, Patna, Bhubaneswar, Raipur and Bhopal the reservation policy will be different. Each of the universities can intake around 100 students this year. For the Indian Nationals the policy of reservation is as follows:

a) 7.5 percent for Scheduled Tribes

b) 27 percent Other Backward Classes

c) 15 percent Scheduled Castes

Roll numbers of the students qualifying for the admission will be will be directly displayed on the notice board of AIIMS Examination Section. Students can even visit the official website of AIIMS www.aiimsexams.org to know their results. Unsuccessful candidates will not be notified by the institute regarding the AIIMS Entrance Exam 2018 result. It will not entertain any kind of correspondence course in this regard.

According to the method of AIIMS cut-off marks, students belonging to the General Category will need to secure 50 percent in order to qualify. Again, candidates of the OBC category will need 45 percent and 40 percent is required for the ST/ SC Categories to qualify for the admission. The list will be compiled according to the results of the exam.

On 27th May, 2018 the MBBS counseling will be scheduled. A regular MBBS program will need to be undergone by the candidates selected. This program will be of five and half years, once year internship is included in it.
