46271 candidates qualified the CBSE NEET (AIPMT) Examination 2014: Says CBSE

CBSE NEET (AIPMT) Examination 2014

The result for all India pre-medical/pre-dental test (NEET (AIPMT)) examination 2014 has been declared by CBSE. A total of 46,271 candidates cleared the examination.

Adding further to the declaration of the result, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) said that a total of 579,707 candidates registered for NEET (AIPMT)-2014, out of which 523,701 appeared in the examination. The examination was conducted on May 4 at 929 centres, located in 50 cities across India including one centre located abroad.

"The NEET (AIPMT)-2014 result has been declared on the basis of the qualifying criteria set by the Medical Council of India and Dental Council of India," added CBSE in a statement.

Out of the total qualifying candidates, 18,115 passed under the 15 percent all India quota seats, of which 9,716 are male and 8,399 are female."The Qualifying candidates need to complete all the formalities with the respective counselling authorities for admission to MBBS/BDS courses,” CBSE added.

The CBSE NEET (AIPMT) 2014 results can be accessed online and all the details and schedule of counselling sessions would be available on the websites of Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Medical Education Directorates of states, and the institutions and universities concerned.
