Today India has 23 IITs across the country and each one is recognised as the most prestigious engineering and technology colleges of India. IIT Bombay, IIT Madras, IIT Kharagpur, IIT Kanpur, IIT Roorkee, IIT Guwahati and IIT Delhi are the 7 old IITs. Recently, 16 more IITs are added in various states of India.
Every IIT has IIT JEE top five branches based on what is mostly preferred by students.
